The new G-Shock 2100 series

The G-Shock 2100 series, we all know it by now. In 2019, this model came on the market as the G-Shock for the young generation and it can already be called a true classic. A perfect combination of analog and digital that is based on the very first G-Shocks from the 1980s. It is less robust and has a sleeker design than you are used to from the brand, making it stylish for everyday use. After the enormous success of the first models, the upgraded steel GM-2100 models appeared. those are even solid and exude a touch more luxury. And now G-Shock finally released the utility metal models, ideal to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the brand, because honestly, in the 2100 models the best of the entire G-Shock collection comes out.
From affordable to luxury
By now, the 2100 series is as broad as the rest of G-Shock's range. G-Shock, as we know, has a very wide range from models that are accessible to everyone, as well as beautiful exclusive luxury models for the enthusiast. So, there is always something for everyone. Also within the 2100 series. Of course, there are the GA models, accessible to everyone and super stylish.
Later the GM models came out, these have a stainless-steel case and are more luxury appearance, making them also very suitable for formal occasions. The watch is nicely designed with the strap blending almost seamlessly into the case. They are available in many different colors, not too flashy, but more modest. Ideal for everyday use.
And finally, the absolute flagship of the collection, the GM-B Series. Just as stylish and modest as the GM models but entirely made of stainless steel. More indestructible than ever, absolutely G-Shock and with a fantastic luxury look.
Whichever one you choose, you're always right. There is no single series of models in which everything that made the brand great is represented as much as in the 2100 series.
Utility metal collection
New to the stainless-steel GM-series are the Utility metal models. In these new watches, the well-known stainless steel 'Casioak' case has received a facelift by adding a Nato strap. As you see, the watch is still stylish, but with a more casual look and the Nato strap makes it of course super comfortable. Available in black, green, and beige. Colours that hand a military feel to the watches.
40th anniversary editions
As said before, G-Shock celebrates their 40th birthday this year! For this special occasion, the brand launched some very nice special editions. The most important one in the 2100 series is GA-2140RE-1AER Remaster Black. A classic black design which has all the previous G-Shock models engraved in the strap. In this way you’ll always have the whole G-Shock legacy on your wrist.
In case that you're not the biggest fan of the 2100 model, G-Shock also launched three other models with the legacy engraved in the strap.
